Kinan Densetsu was founded in Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture in 1947. Its long history began with a single replaced light bulb and a repaired leaking water pipe. Since those days, we have remained true to our basic philosophy of serving customers with our technologies. And, because we want to improve the lives of our customers and the general public, we are constantly improving those technologies.

As Japan’s economy was transformed during an era of high growth and then entered an era of low growth, Kinan Densetsu also changed and evolved. We established our Osaka Office in 2010, enabling us to expand our sales territory from within Wakayama Prefecture to the greater Kinki area. Since then, the number of prime contract orders received has grown rapidly, making us one of the leading companies within the facilities industry of the prefecture.

In 2014, we established our Yangon Branch in Myanmar. Electricity supplies in Myanmar are very unstable, and many suburban areas still have no electricity. We provide electric light to those areas using natural energy. We will never forget the happy expressions on the faces of the children who were seeing electric light for the first time in their lives.

Kinan Densetsu will further develop its technologies to contribute to the global community, and is committed to becoming a leading company within the facilities industry.
