Its long history began with a single replaced light bulb and a repaired leaking water pipe. Since those days, we have remained true to our basic philosophy of serving customers with our technologies. And, because we want to improve the lives of our customers and the general public, we are constantly improving those technologies.

As Japan’s economy was transformed during an era of high growth and then entered an era of low growth, Kinan Densetsu also changed and evolved. We established our Osaka Office in 2010, enabling us to expand our sales territory from within Wakayama Prefecture to the greater Kinki area. Since then, the number of prime contract orders received has grown rapidly, making us one of the leading companies within the facilities industry of the prefecture.

In 2014, we established our Yangon Branch in Myanmar. Electricity supplies in Myanmar are very unstable, and many suburban areas still have no electricity. We provide electric light to those areas using natural energy. We will never forget the happy expressions on the faces of the children who were seeing electric light for the first time in their lives.

Kinan Densetsu will further develop its technologies to contribute to the global community, and is committed to becoming a leading company within the facilities industry.

Company outline

Company name

Kinan Densetsu Co., Ltd.

Representative

Takashi Higashihama, Representative Director

Capital

95,000,000 yen

Number of employees

63 (as of July 21st, 2020)

Commenced operations

January 1st, 1947

Address

Head office
Aza-Sezakitsubo 613-2, Komatsubara, Yukawa-cho, Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan 644-0012
TEL:0738-22-8211 (reception)
FAX:0738-22-8214

Branches

Osaka office
Plaza μ Horie 602, Honden 3-5-10, Nishi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka, Japan 550-0022
TEL:06-6581-8080
FAX:06-6581-8070

Wakayama office
East Avenue Wakayama 405, Ota 2-8-5, Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan 640-8323
TEL:073-474-4746
FAX:073-474-4756

Sendai office
Hoosiers Sendai Honcho Building 4th floor east 2,Honcho 1-9-6,
Aoba-ku,Sendai City,Miyagi,Japan980-0014
TEL:022-398-7153
FAX:022-398-7154

Construction license

Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Permit (Special-2) No. 23689
Civil engineering work, scaffolding and earthwork, stonework, electrical work, piping work, steel structural work, paving work, dredging work, water supply facilities work, demolition work

Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Permit (General-2) No. 23689
Mechanical equipment installation, electrical communications, fire-prevention facilities

Primary operations

Electrical work: Highway illumination equipment, tunnel illumination equipment, solar power generation equipment, wind power generation equipment, electrical equipment installation in buildings

Electric power work: Overhead power lines, substations, and control in power stations and substations

Electrical communications work: Tunnel emergency alarm equipment, CCTV equipment, highway information displays

Mechanical equipment installation work: Domestic power generation, drainage pumps

Piping work: Water supply, drainage, and hygiene, air conditioning equipment, septic tanks, mechanical equipment in buildings

Various types of maintenance: Cleaning of water storage tanks, maintenance and checking of fire-fighting equipment

Main banks

The Kiyo Bank, Ltd.
